Briefing

Pirobase-Live-App was intended as a showcase for fair trade by a CMS system provider. A huge display installed at the fairground accompanied it. With the app's help, visitors could take a picture, and it would immediately appear also on the big screen. This would demonstrate the speed of their infrastructure. My task was to design the interface of the app and so of the photo wall too.

Photo Wall

My idea was to extract the brand colors and use them as duotone filters for photos. So the pictures in the app and the photo wall became branded experiences.

User Interface

After picking a photo from a smartphone gallery, the user can tints it with photo filters. When the user is satisfied with the result, he can save it to the photo wall. Initially, the photo wall is filled with blank rectangles of brand colors, but gradually, the rectangles are replaced with uploaded images.
